At Domus we are continually evolving along with our clients and with industry needs. For the past two years, we have partnered with Harris Interactive to conduct a poll to find out the largest areas of need in the marketing communications world. Over the next few weeks, we will be posing the same questions to our website visitors and Twitter followers to see how needs and workplace situations have changed since our poll was last conducted.
We are first starting with employee engagement because at Domus, we have always felt like the first stop for any plan is employees. Outside of Domus, we know that businesses in the United States lose over $11 billion dollars a year due to employee turnover, and even though 90% of leaders believe an employee engagement strategy is needed, only 25% develop one.
After reviewing the statistics coming out of the Domus Client Needs Poll™ and the responses received through our website and Twitter, we have found the need has INCREASED. Previously, 75% of respondents believed “Employees at my company understand how our corporate brand impacts our bottom line.” Our new research shows that belief has dipped to 50% of respondents believing employees understand how their corporate brand impacts their bottom line.
We believe our research shows that now more than ever, companies in the United States are in need of an employee engagement program, and we believe Domus is the company to develop one for them.
